Nurdle Count

The Nurdle Count project aims to develop a machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) approach to classify and quantify nurdles. These small plastic pellets contribute to microplastic pollution in oceans and waterways. The project will use computer vision to detect nurdles, distinguish them from other particles, and provide an accurate count to users via the Nurdle Patrol Website and Mobile Applications.

InSAR

Interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) is a radar technique used in geodesy and remote sensing that uses two or more synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images (SAR) to create maps of digital elevation using differences in phases of waves returning to the satellite. We are using this method to get sub-centimeter accuracy for subsidence over a period of months to years.
